AOC’s Anti-Fascist Foreign Policy | Iran War Dilemma | Anthropic A.I. Against the War Machine? | Democratic Party in Crisis | Ep. 287
New episode of the pod just dropped:
What did AOC reveal about her foreign policy vision during her trip to Germany and the Munich Security Conference? And why was she actually right about China?
Why is the US about to illegally attack Iran, again?
“Spineless. Incompetent. Sold us out. No balls.” Normie Democrats talk about the Democratic Party like I do, according to the New York Times. That means it’s only Washington and the pundit class who don’t get it. We’re in the middle of a reckoning and the insiders don’t even see it coming.
We’re seeing signs of tech-worker backlash against militarism, and Anthropic’s fight with the Pentagon may be its frontline.

I wish I had your faith (perhaps that's too strong a word) in AOC. I was already referring to her as 'my President' in early 2019 (I have the tweets to prove it), but there's been a shit-ton of water under the bridge since then. Bottom line is that she completely lost me when she told the 2024 Democratic Convention that Kamala was working 24-7 to establish a Gaza ceasefire...a blatant lie that we could all see through at the time.
The rest of the Democratic field for 2028 is, of course, no better and mostly much worse. Were they to run, I might be able to get behind Jeff Merkley or Chris Van Hollen...at least they haven't lied to me yet.
A lot of over-the-top reactions to AOC’s Munich performance in op-eds and opinion pieces. Hard to tell if it’s her views or herself that drive the haters.
