Not so long ago, I reviewed a great book about Sino-US relations that almost nobody has heard of. It’s by Feng Zhang and Richard Ned Lebow, scholars of international relations who confront the problem of Sino-US relations transitioning from a framework of broad cooperation to ggeopolitical rivalry. I have quibbles with their argument, but this is a book that should be read as a terrific pairing with Pacific Power Paradox and The Rivalry Peril.
