JD Vance Versus Niall Ferguson is the Stupidity We Deserve

Niall Ferguson is a reactionary court historian with a profound fondness for empire. OG readers of this newsletter need no introduction to him. He’s also supportive of Trump and MAGA to a degree that is hard to believe is actually sincere. He appears in his every utterance to want to be close to power.

And so it’s quite strange, maybe even hilarious, that JD Vance has decided to publicly attack Ferguson as a “globalist” peddling “moralistic garbage.”
