Thoughts on Andy Levin for President

The case against Biden grows. Andy Levin is a logical alternative. But since when has logic mattered in politics?

Gabe Winant is one of my favorite political minds, and he has a new piece at In These Times making the urgent plea to oust Biden from the Democratic nomination for president in 2024.

The problem:

the Biden coalition is now at serious risk of collapsing in 2024, as younger voters, Arab and Muslim voters, and increasingly voters of color abandon him in droves…The president is now losing in many polls to Trump and other Republican candidates, sometimes in some states by double digits, as voters peel off and demobilize. He is in especially bad shape in the critical swing state of Michigan.

Does anyone disagree with this assessment? Seems undeniable given that Trump now outpolls Biden among Hispanics, anyone under age 35, and increasingly Black Americans.
