Undiplomatic's weekly Dumpster Fire is exactly what I have been looking for post-election. I am not crazy for domestic politics in-depth, so this is pretty much the right dose. It is a pretty nice curated weekly round-up with just the right portions of humour and sarcasm. Currently it is not behind a paywall.
Thanks! Still experimenting with how to do the paywall on these episodes, and for how long. After running a poll last month, this was something meant primarily for people like you--patrons who keep the lights on deserve something extra. But making it available to the public also has its virtues, so who knows
I have spent many years running an operation on a shoe-string to help others and would not recommend such a plan in these times. I liked your idea of some freebies and some paywall episodes here and there as a fair deal to give people a taste and inspire them to contribute. I only mentioned the paywall to encourage people to read now, because the whole substack is definitely worth the monthly contribution. The way I figure it the more recruits pitching in to keep the lights on and help get message out, the better my chances for a less dystopian future.
